Rachel Mangan

Rachel Mangan is a Speech Language Pathologist certified nationally through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the State of Florida. She is the Site Director for the Orlando Campus of the Central Florida Dreamplex, and the Founder/Director of the Dreamplex Therapeutic School for Hearing and Speech. Rachel holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from the University of Central Florida. She is certified in English as a Second Language, which affords her the ability to analyze language differences or disorders in culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

Rachel has received multiple Awards in Continuing Education achievements through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has a certification in Action Based Leadership. Most recently, she received a certification in Auditory Verbal Therapy as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist. Rachel enjoys speaking to educate professionals and families on ways to support children’s language development through daily routines and activities. She enjoys pioneering therapeutic programs that promote growth, the confidence of parents, caregivers, and professionals. She is the co-founder of the Thrive Resource Center providing free resources for families and professionals affected by hearing loss. Rachel has the capability to work with children with all abilities, however, her passion is hearing loss. Rachel always looks forward to continuing to create innovative ways for therapeutic services to be accessible to all families and children.
